Two years ago today 

Was grandmas death  

I posted a picture of me and her together 

to show how much I love her  

But still to that day I look back upon Wonder if my grandma is really up there looking down upon me Wondering if god gives her a window of opportunity To see what her baby boy Chris is growing up to be

In a world where we Overeat and

Allowing our future generations to hang from the monkey bars created by the oppresor  

Its incredible how the probability of a black man getting shot down with raised hands which will make all blacks stand in an unforeseen circumstance is higher than a black child graduating from college  

They always looked down on us as though we lacked knowledge, like im going to grow up in a unpolished life of racism and fear as though all my problems have been abolished  

I'm mentally ill but physically stable while standing on broken glasses while the new Jim crow is in my face, as though my life is a race but my finish line is closer because my own skin would go and put me in a hersh  

Where my black skin is dirt and only my momma know my worth, we killing our own family just to wear them on our shirt,  and in remembrance of our fallen family I get that's why you hurt, we lose people everyday but we manage to make it work  

We try to plan lives to move forward from guns shooting and gang movements, what ever happen to black movements, panther party and guns charging using the law as problem solving  

But nah we take it upon our self to show the world the type of person our black majority is, we are the smart and talented innovators of the world, but we are looked at as savage people that will cause chaos in any ones life  

I know people that have taken lives and had their lives taken, blocked by the hood American dream of just making it out the hood, blinded by the false information that was provided to all of our mindsets of having a set life, section 8 and link is all you need to be set, but the real eyes who realized the real lies always left and are standing strong.
