Chicago, IL — My Radio Chicago proudly announces its Anniversary + Appreciation Awards, taking place on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM at Visions Events, located at 11901 S. Loomis Street, Chicago, IL. This special event, powered by Campbell Gyrl Media and The Blizz Effect, is dedicated to celebrating and uplifting the media professionals, personalities, and contributors who power the My Radio Chicago platform.

Unlike traditional award shows, this is not a nomination-based or voting-based event. Instead, the Anniversary + Appreciation Awards serves as a tribute and thank-you experience, honoring the hard work, dedication, and impact of Chicago’s independent media community.

Chicago, IL – The Chicago Hip Hop Heritage Museum (CHHHM) proudly presents the Women in Hip Hop Exhibit, celebrating the groundbreaking contributions of women across all elements of Hip Hop culture. The exhibit began in July 2025 and will run through April 2026 at 4505 S. Indiana Avenue, Chicago, IL.

This dynamic exhibit highlights the diverse impact of women in Hip Hop, including Emcees, DJs, Producers, Engineers, Radio Broadcasters and Personalities, Media professionals, Breakdancers, Tag Artists, and more. Through photos, artifacts, memorabilia, and interactive installations, visitors gain a deeper understanding of the powerful influence women have had in shaping the genre and culture from its roots to today.

A Brief History of the Museum

Founded by Brian Gorman, Darrell "Artistic" Roberts, and Carrico "Kingdom Rock" Sanders, the Chicago Hip Hop Heritage Museum is the first of its kind in the city to preserve and honor the history, artistry, and cultural significance of Hip Hop in Chicago and beyond. Since its inception, CHHHM has been a cultural hub, educating communities, showcasing local talent, and celebrating the artists and pioneers who have shaped the city’s rich Hip Hop legacy.
